chopper works fine but top won't stay on because it doesn't have enough threads to twist on. only twist about 3/4's of a turn, would be excellent if it twisted on 1.5 turns, as it is when you chop and reverse the crank, the top comes off, at least it does for me. you have to hold the chopper where the top threads onto the bottom.Customer Review: Excellent but dangerous

Chops nuts better and easier than food processor or slap chopper, and cleans easier.
But sooner or later, a blade will break off and fall into the chopped nuts. It will be about a half inch long, sharp and dangerous. Unless you examine the chopped nuts very carefully, it will end up in your food and then in your mouth.

I looked all over for this kind of nut chopper. The previous ones that I had like this one didn't hold up well to some of the nuts chopped. This one has 2 choices for size of chopped nut, and is nice and strong. I've had this for awhile now and use it quite often. It is still like new and is dishwasher safe.Customer Review: Makes nut powder, not chopped nuts

This thing is useless. I ran some walnuts through it on its "coarse" setting, and most of what came out the bottom was powder; the rest were tiny, tiny pieces. I love this nut chopper, really does a great job.
Does exactly what I want without a mess.
I do a lot of baking and appreciate this.
I have had many nut choppers, that I discarded,
mainly because they didn't do the job.
This is the real deal.
