This product has all of the features of the one it replaces plus some additional ones that correct the problems with my old one. The glass container on my old one, which broke when it fell is replaced with a plastic one and the bottom of the container now has a rubber ring on it to prevent slipping while chopping. I loved my old one and was extatic when I found this one to replace it.Customer Review: Love It

I love these hand grinder nut choppers better than the kind that you smash? down on the counter with the blades that chop the nuts. This is more fun and It is nice having the lid on top to keep the nuts inside. It is esspecially easy for kids to use if they want to help you chop the nuts for brownies or something and you don't have to worry about them getting hurt by open blades.Customer Review: Good Chopper

Chopper arrived when expected and in perfect condition.
This is the second of this product that I have used and does a great job. The first one lasted many many years and finally came apart at the bottom - I might could superglue it back together. I use it everyday so it has lasting power. The fat handle is comfortable to use. I only wish it made smaller pieces.

This nut chopper is well designed and easy to use. I like the function of fine or coarse options as well as being able to sprinkle or store the chopped nuts. Reviewers who complained of the blades breaking probably cracked the nuts themselves and allowed shells to be mixed with the meats. I bought this item because I got tired of pulling out my Cuisinart to chop a half cup of nuts. This nut chopper does the trick. It's simple to use and I love the measuring marks so I don't have to pull out a measuring cup to figure out how much I have. I was also able to put it through the dishwasher. I would recommend this product.
