Ahhhhhh, childhood memories.
As long as you remember to put some water in the reservoir, this thing is as easy as can be. I find that a 1/4 of a Hershey bar works well, because once you take your smore out of the microwave, the chocolate will start to melt MUCH faster than you expect it to.
The first few days I had this, it got used a ton... and the novelty still hasn't worn off. One bite and you'll be nine years old again, laughing at the kid whose marshmallow fell in the fire because he wanted a burned smore.
I haven't had any problems with this product, it has performed flawlessly every time. By not over-complicating a simple idea, Progressive has come up with a winner. You won't be disappointed, unless you're one of those weirdos who likes their marshmallows burned to a crisp. I can't help you there. :)

I bought this for a team building event that I did at work and it was a HUGE success. Not only is it different, it's darn creative. We had a blast using it and the unit produced picture-perfect S'Mores each and every time. We were having so much fun with it that we actually drew a crowd at work who wanted in on all of the action (we gave out some S'Mores too).
How it works: First, simply fill up the water tank (this keeps moisture in the microwave and prevents your S'More from burning). Next, assemble your S'More and pull the little plastic arm down to hold it in place. Finally, place it in the microwave and watch it come to life.
This was truly a great treat - what a team builder! I can imagine something like this would also be fun for kids and families alike. I highly recommend.

I can't put this any simpler: Perfect Smores. Every. Single. Time. There is no longer any need to go camping as far as I'm concerned. It is so incredibly easy to use. It's also a fun activity for kids. I'm a huge s'mores fan (favorite food on the planet). I was skeptical that this gadget would produce anything close to my idea of what s'mores should be. I was so wrong. The only difference between the microwave version and the campfire version is the marshmallow doesn't get brown. It does still get nice and gooey. Clean up is almost non-existent. When in doubt, throw it in the dishwasher (it's dishwasher safe). I don't know what I did before this. Suffer, maybe, and wish it were camping weather.Customer Review: Great product and so much fun!

I ordered this for my three kids. We love roasting smores on a campfire but do not get to do that too often. When I saw the low Amazon price, I had my doubts. I was still so excited to try this out. It came in and the kids and I tried it for dessert. It was just as easy as promised. It took only 30 seconds to cook the marshmallows evenly and perfectly. The chocolate doesn't really start melting until you take it out of the microwave which is good. It is less messy that way.
I could not recommend this enough. We use ours very regularly. I have already bought three more as Christmas gifts. Wonderful, simple, inexpensive. What more could you ask for? Go get your own!!

I bought this item from a recommendation on a mommy blog. It was cheap so I thought, why not? I was not disappointed! This little gadget - which is somewhat simple and unimpressive when you look at it - creates the perfect s'more in the microwave in 30 seconds. I am amazed every time at just how perfect they turn out. The secret is the water in the reservoir. Why someone didn't think of this sooner, I'll never know! I plan to use them a kid birthday gifts and holiday gifts for my mom-friends. Packaged with a box of graham crackers and a bag of marshmallows it will make a great gift!
