I am teaching my daughter, who has an Autism Spectrum Disorder, to cook & bake. With the range of sizes here, she'll go from reading the recipe to results in no time. As for the handles, you should be spooning in your ingredients, or using scoops to fill your cups, measuring cups are exactly that; measuring SCOOPS have the handles for that. UPDATE: I am completely spoiled now. No set I ever previously owned had a 2 cup measuring cup (dry) makes a lot of things go faster.Customer Review: Measuring Cups

I bought this set because I was moving out on my own and needed to be economical. You get a lot for your money. These cups are sturdy.
I have found 2 drawbacks: First, one of the little rings broke off the cups before I used them, not sturdy. Secondly since they are plastic I've had problems with flour, pancake mix etc. sticking to the outside...maybe static? I'm not sure.
But otherwise they're a good buy for someone on a budget.

So first of all, not only do the teaspoon's say things like "pinch, dash, smidge" they also have the actual measurements. It's imprinted into the actual cup so that you dont have to worry about wearing it out, which is why I had to buy a new set to begin with. It also covers pretty much every single measurement you could need from 1/4 teaspoon all the way up to 2 cups. I love these, and I would absolutely recommend them to a friend!Customer Review: Never run out of measuring cups again!

This is a great set of measuring cups/spoons with just about every size you could possibly need or use! It's great to not have to stop mid cooking to clean a measuring cup because you've had to use the same one 2-3 times. They are simple, nestle inside one another, and are dishwasher safe (I put them on the top rack and even with high temp wash and heat still perfect condition). As you have seen in the previous reviews, it is a large set with a wide range of measurements. I was a little wary after reading previous reviews about the quality, but I am very pleased. I have had to show them off when friends and neighbors visit--especially those who bake. They could not believe all the sizes plus they also think the quality is good. I have now worn out my mixer since I am so keen on using these new tools.
