I purchased this item because I liked the idea of being able to keep my drink cold without having to use ice. Ice melts so quickly and waters down your drink. So I purchased a set of these glasses, received them washed them put them in the freezer to freeze. I checked on them about 4 hours later and when I opened the freezer one of the bottoms of the glasses was laying beside the glass. It had broken while it was freezing, right at the top stem. I was amazed that I didn't even get to use the glasses before one of them broke. So I sent the item back to Amazon for a refund. I figured if it wasn't even going to last through getting frozen that they was definitely not worth $14.99 to keep. I guess I really expected more from a set of plastic glasses, but unfortunately I didn't get it. I don't know if I just received a defective set of glasses or what, but I wouldn't buy another set of these.Customer Review: Ugly but essential!

Bought a set of these about a year ago and buying another set now (because they got broken in a move due to poor packing). They are not the most esthetically pleasing cocktail glasses but after looking all over for a similar product that would reliably keep a drink cold previous to buying these I've got to say I'm extremely satisfied.
The weak point is definitely where the glass meets the stem - I dropped one and that's right where it broke. Then again, had I dropped a cocktail glass it would have shattered and I was in fact able to glue the glass back to the stem and continued to use it.
Bottom line is if you'd like to sip a drink that stays cold and are less concerned with looks than with function, this is an excellent product.

I received two sets of these are birthday gifts, and I am in love with them. They are large enough to hold a decent size drink. They freeze surprisingly quickly and they stay frozen longer than I would expect. I have had several martini glasses broken at parties, but that isn't an issue with these durable yet functional glasses. These are a must have for any apple martinis/cosmopolitan drinker!Customer Review: Great Glasses

These martini glasses work great. I keep two in the freezer always ready for my in-laws. The plastic is not as "elegant" as real glass; but the liquid would crack glass when it froze.
