Customer Review: Nice weight, don't stay cold too long
Summary: 4 Stars
These glasses have a nice feel and a solid weight. They balance in your hand like real glass. They hold a sizeable martini. But they don't stay as cold as I hoped they would, even in winter.
I'm comparing these glasses to "frosty beer mugs" I received about 15 years ago as a wedding present. Those beer mugs stay cold a very long time, and they get so cold that beer freezes to the side of the mug. But my husband pointed out that the sides of the beer mug are a lot thicker. (In fact, it makes them rather awkward.) So, my conclusion is that the designers of the Freeze-to-Please Martini Glasses sacrificed the volume of freezing gel in order to produce a delicate, well-balanced martini glass.
In summary: These are nice, unbreakable martini glasses, appropriate for pool-side use, that stay frozen for a short time. They are better balanced than plain, plastic glasses, but don't stay as cold as similarly designed beer mugs.

Drinks will stay nice and cold when served in the ice shell created by these 10-ounce Martini Glasses. No watered down ice cube effect. Double wall design has non-toxic re-freezable liquid between the walls. Just place the glass upside down in the freezer a couple of hours before use for the walls to freeze.
