I bought my first one just over three years ago in 2006 and it has worked great. It is not a large grinder, but I find the two sets of grinds will give me the amount of coffee I like for a pot of coffee.
While my current one is still functioning fine, I am purchasing a replacement as the cord is becoming frayed as it rubs when it is put back in the base. Three years of pretty close to daily use for $14 is a good deal for me.

I've owned several of these sturdy little machines over the years - not because they give out, but because somehow the plastic dome lids keep disappearing. (I suspect that my kids accidentally toss them in the trash while cleaning the kitchen!) My only complaint is that Proctor-Silex doesn't make it possible to buy replacement lids. I just hate throwing out a perfectly good motor when all I need is a cheap piece of plastic.Customer Review: So much for so little!

I bought this mill to go along w/ the french press that I bought. I was a little worried at the time that it wouldn't perform because of it's very low price, but I was very pleasantly surprised! It works great, it is compact and I love that the cord wraps up in it. It's a snap to clean. All I do is wipe it out w/ a dry towel. I love this and the press I got so much that I am buying them for my brother as a birthday present!Customer Review: It's okay...

Okay so I bought this grinder cause I really like fresh brewed coffee and was always told that I should grind the beans right before brewing. Anyways, the grinder works, I wouldn't say that it's the best or anything like that. It feels very flimsy and I'm just waiting for it to break down and not work. I just don't have the feeling that it'll last as long as my last one (over 5 years) but in the end, the grinder works.Customer Review: What a mess..

While this little thing gets the job done as far as grinding up coffee beans, it makes an absolute mess doing it. I usually have two rounds of grinding to get the right amount of coffee for my coffee machine. Just taking off the top gets a good amount of grounds everywhere and doing this twice makes it even worse. We bought this about a month ago when our last one died and I am going to get a new as soon as possible.
