Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Proctor Silex 72500RY 1-1/2-Cup Food ChopperCustomer Review: good deal Summary: 4 Stars
very good performance for a $10 appliance. Yes, it only chops small quantities, but that's exactly the advantage for a 1-2 person household. It's so small I have left it reside on my 2-foot counter. Also, it is easy to clean and this is a big deal for me because I use it DAILY! the only negative is that the bowl cracked after a few months use, but again, giving $10 every 6 months for such a convenience is worth it.
Customer Review: LOVE this!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I wish I would have bought one a long time ago. It is so convenient. Easy to clean up. Very nice for grinding nuts in a hurry for baking. Seems powerful enough for everything I have tried it on. You still need to pull out the big food processor for larger amounts because this only holds 1 cup or so. That would be the only negative. Otherwise I love it.
Great product for the price. $14 well spent!!!
Customer Review: Proctor Silex Food Chopper Summary: 4 Stars
I have a Magic Bullet & it is hard to chop anything in it without it turning to mush. The Proctor Silex Food Chopper doesn`t do that. It`s quick, easy to use & easy to clean.I would like to eventualy get a bigger one to do bigger jobs but this little one is perfect for me because I recently had weight loss surgery & need smaller portions. My mom also has one.I would definately reccomend this product to anyone.
Customer Review: Great little mixer! Summary: 5 Stars
Very nice price, very nice mixer. I would definitely recommend this to anybody. I actually bought my parents once because I like it so much. It's really great for little jobs in the kitchen where pulling out the big food processor isn't practical. I use it to chop garlic all the time, and making little batches of pesto is so easy. The bowl and blade part of it are dishwasher safe, so cleanup's a breeze!
Customer Review: Good item for the price . . . Summary: 4 Stars
This little chopper is handy, but I bought it on a tight budget to save time in the kitchen. It only has one function, so if you need multiple functions (fine/coarse, chop/grate) you'll need to look at more expensive items. As far as quality goes, I've been using it without a problem for four months. It's really quite handy for simple chopping needs and is easy to assemble and to clean.
