I did some research before I purchased this item. It came speedily enough for presenting my grandma at Christmas. It's the perfect size, has all the settings she needs, and has a removable/washable bowl- which was her main concern previously. This is the perfect size crock pot for small amounts. Easy to cook a few pieces of chicken without having to make a whole stew. Not too small not too larger. It is great that it has two heat settings plus the keep warm feature. Easy to clean. I got this to cook meals for my 15 month son. This is a great product. I make vegetable chicken stews in it. I set it to high if I'm home and it cooks everything in 5 hours. If I have to leave home, I set it to low and it is done in 8 hours. This weekend I'm planing to make beef stew. I hope he likes it.Customer Review: just right for a small family

Everything I wanted in a little crock pot. I have a large one, but for just two people I found it difficult to cover meat with sauce or gravy without dining on mostly sauce. This one is perfect. I have had this slow cooker for over 2 years now. I use it almost daily to cook grains overnight for breakfast porridge. It's the perfect size for 1-2 servings. It has been simple and reliable, and when I travel, it travels with me. I'm buying another right now as a gift for a friend.
