Customer Review: Smaller Than Expected and Stinky Gasket

I picked this up because I enjoyed using a larger one my friends gave me, but that one was giving me more espresso than I needed at one time. I figured a "one cup" would deliver around 2oz of espresso (just my assumption). In actuality, the reservoir holds about 1.75.
The gasket is also super stinky, as several reviewers have pointed out. After removing the lid off of a fresh brewed pot, you can literally smell the chemical smell of the gasket on the used grounds. I tried removing the gasket entirely as suggested by another reviewer and that actually seemed to work fine.
I would probably try a different brand rather than try this one again, but it does work great, it's just the nasty gasket is a bother, especially considering how many people have complained about it. If you do get this, plan to either buy a replacement gasket or not use one at all.
