I love my salad shooter, it is so much faster/easier than a regular grater. My only complaint is that the cone shredder breaks way too easily. I have had two shooters and the cone's plastic starts to crack and eventually breaks. I would still recommend the shooter, just know that you will have to replace the shredder cone after about a year or two of use.Customer Review: why metal and plasic

ok, my wife like these things, but plastic, come on guys, i know they are cheap in the first place but , make it out of metal, that way it well last longer.

The product is fine, but apparently what I ordered was smaller than the one originally with the product. It will work till I find a larger one.
