I have to tell you its a marvelous Skillet, so easy to cook in, i can make so much in it,i AM disabled and able to make enough to freeze for when I am not capable of cooking.
cleaning is a breeze, actually can just wipe.. just season w/ a little oil, helps it from sticking/ its bigger than I thought, a lot bigger than my old old one...lol, if you want to make one big dinner,this is it......... The temp. is unbelieveably great/perfectooooo!, I am disabled and when I am able to cook,the skillet allows me to make a lot extra to freeze, for when I cannot cook. LUV IT!!!!

We have tried just about every brand electric skillet on the market. The Presto 06852 - 16 inch is by far superior to them all. We use the Presto 4 to 5 times a week and it has performed excellent. The non stick surface is the best I have ever owned. Absolutely no flaking or discoloration after many uses. No sticking and easy clean up. We have used it for steaks, fish, chicken, pork, soups, rice, pasta dishes, chili, bacon, sausage, eggs, grilled cheese, pancakes and just about any meal imaginable. I couldn't be more pleased and would recommend it to anyone who wants a quality electric skillet at a reasonable price.Customer Review: EXCELLENT !

This is a GREAT skillet! It cooks up your food fast and keeps an even temp. I will be using this instead of my stove top for most of my cooking. I was surprised at how fast it cooked up the ground meat, faster then my stove top. Since my oven is not working I have been using a roaster oven. Everything takes so much longer to cook in that, so I decided to put the stuffed shells right in this skillet. And was surprised how fast they were done. If you are looking for an electric skillet, I highly recommend this one! Oh and the shipping was free too, and I got it in only 2 days! I bought the Presto 16-inch electric skillet with glass cover(06852) on 8/24/06 from Amazon.com. I was very satisfied with this product until yesterday when it was being used to heat chicken on the Warm setting. Without warning the cover exploded, spraying glass from the center of the cover everywhere. If I had been standing near it at the time I could have been seriously injured. I checked on the Internet and discovered that other people have experienced the same problem with other glass covered electric cookware. I will be replacing this unit with a metal-covered Presto electric skillet model 06850.Customer Review: The best, a must for any cook!

I bought this electric skillet because my frying pan was on it's last leg. Plus it is summer and some days is just to hot to cook. Well I am so happy with this electric skillet. I get more room to cook then in a frying pan. It does a great job and easy to clean. My food is cooked more evenly and in the summer I don't get the heat like I do from using the stove. I can't imagine being with out this ever again. Amazon having reviews helped me so much in picking out a good product. So write your reviews good and bad for those of us who need help in what ever product we are looking to buy.
