Purchased this as a Christmas gift to myself, and it has been awesome. I've used it quite a few times, using canola oil. Heats up quickly, and as long as you don't overstuff it, touch the outside while it's hot, or have an IQ over 50, you should have no problems with it. Great for quick buffalo wings, mini tacos or home made potato chips!Customer Review: Should have gotten the bigger one!

The deep fryer works great and is super easy for storage. My only complaint is that I should have gotten the bigger size. Not much fits into this small one. If you are trying to deep fry something for 2 people, you need to separate your food so that you can cook a portion of it and then put the remaining portions in after the 1st is done.Customer Review: Presto FryDaddy Deep Fryer

I have tried several electric fryers in the past. This one is the best. The oil heats quickly and food fries efficiently. Because of the design it holds approx 3-4 cups of oil. Good for small to medium jobs. No real complaints with this item. The price point is very affordable.
Easy to clean, store and use again and again.
