I kept putting this on my wishlist but never purchasing it because the price seemed steep for a bacon cooker. Finally my husband surprised me and just ordered it for me. I don't even cook bacon that often, but it is wonderful when I do. I used to just lay bacon down on mounds of paper towels; messy and also overheated my ceramic plates to the point of nearly cracking sometimes. With this gadget, all the grease drains to the bottom for easy cleaning and the bacon gets nice and crispy. Can do up to 12 pieces at a time if careful in how you "hang" the bacon.Customer Review: Works well

You can fit 10 slices at once, which is important to us. Hot bacon is easy to remove 5 slices at a time with a knife. Thick or thin cut works well. The cooked strips are bent but easily flattened when you lay them on a plate. If the bacon edges stick together, let them cool for a minute and they're easily seperated.
Cleanup is a minor task.. take apart the racks and place them in a dishwasher. Next dump the grease from the pan (there's a lot!!) and place that in the dw as well. Its well worth the effort since the bacon comes out perfectly!

I use this product regularly. I like to cook bacon in the microwave because it is the easiest way to get cooked bacon with good results. This product does a pretty good job of cooking bacon. The only thing that is a little annoying with this bacon cooker, is that due to the design, the middle part of the bacon that is where the plastic pieces meet in the middle (at the peak)are slightly less cooked than the rest of the piece of bacon. It's not a dealbreaker but just a slight annoyance. Overall, this is probably the best bacon cooker out there.Customer Review: Takes the mess out of cooking bacon.

No skillet to cleanup, no grease splatter on stove. Cooking time and amount you can cook depends on thickness and size
of bacon strips. Cooks evenly and bacon doesn't tend to shrink as much as in a skillet. I have cooked bacon on paper towel
in a plate--this is much easier and much less mess.
When grease cools you just dispose of it and put the cooker parts in dishwasher.
It is also very easy to store because the racks come part and lay flat in the base.
Don't forget to cover with paper towel while cooking!

Cooks more evenly than flat bacon cookers, paper or glass dishes. Bacon varies from brand to brand, package to package and even slice to slice within a package so some variability is inherent in any microwave bacon cooker regardless of style or design because of the bacon, not the device or microwave.
Peeking under the paper towel as the bacon nears the end of the cooking and you'll catch it just right. It certainly cooks it fast enough to watch the finish. It keeps bacon high and dry out of the melted fat.
