This little bacon cooker has saved my life! Well, almost. My brother moved in with me and he gets bacon and eggs every morning. .. and I was not used to cooking anything in the morning let alone deal with bacon and grease. Just drape the bacon on the two little plastic racks, be sure to drape a paper towel over them, and pop them in the microwave for about a minute per slice. If the bacon is thicker it might take a bit longer. The grease is all in the bottom of the small pan, very little popping in the microwave. I put it in the top rack of my dishwasher and I've had no problems. I LOVE IT!Customer Review: Sweet Old Bob

It only holds 8 pieces of bacon,when 12 pieces are in a normal pound.
A piece of bacon is longer than the holder so you have to cut bacon in half in order to use. therefore it takes twice as long to cook bacon.
I am using bottom part of cooker as my dogs dish.
threw the rest away.
Easier and much less costly to take paper plate,put row of paper towels and bacon on top, paper towel, layer of bacon etc.unyil all pieces are on plate. cover with another paper towel and cook in microvave for about 12 minutes(1200 Watt microwave.
product is useless in my estimation!!!

Presto has done it again. I love their pizza cooker, and I love bacon, so I thought that I'd give their microwave bacon cooker a try. It's perfect in every way. It makes superb well drained bacon fast! Easy to use. Quick and easy to clean, either by hand or in your dishwasher. Durable. Inexpensive. I have expensive copper-bottomed frying pans and a heavy bronze bacon press; this inexpensive device does the job better, faster, and with easier cleanup. I really am a rocket scientist - and I can't think of any needed improvements, which is darn rare. It really is perfect.Customer Review: Excellent Product!!!!

This is an amazing bacon cooker...better than any other one I've tried. I just had to leave a review because I know how much reviews have helped me in my buying decisions. One helpful tip: I use a bacon type called "Thick Bacon" (can't remember the brand), and for every bacon I increase the minutes by the same amount. For instance, if I use 8 bacons (which is all that will fit), I put it on 8 minutes and cover it with a paper towel. This is best advice I can give you because the directions aren't very clear. I've had this microwave bacon cooker for as long as I can remember. My new girlfriend used it and it apparently made such an impression that she begged me to find one for her. That's how I ended up buying on Amazon.com. No wonder it is still around; it is a perfectly designed product that does exactly what it is meant to do. I like this design because the fat drips down away from the bacon making it as healthy as bacon can be. Once you figure out the right setting on your microwave, you get perfect results every time. It is also easy to clean in the dishwasher.
