Customer Review: too big too shallow

I had an old aluminum colander that must be a 4-qt capacity, because everything I found in my search is too big (5 qt or larger) or too tall for my limited storage or too small (3-qt) to contain the pasta. The perforated metal goes up inside the Precision colander's rim, where it traps water. This means I have to leave it out to drip dry in my tiny little kitchen, instead of wiping it off and putting it away when finished. It drains well, which is a colander's main function, but it's a bit hard to clean.
