I recieved my Power on Board Bright Bar last year for Christmas from my parents. I simply love it because we have multiple power outages every year. For me there is nothing worse than having cabin fever already, (the hubby is skiing or business traveling half the time), and then have a dreary couple of nights with dim candles and flourescent rechargeables. This the first light that really fits the bill. I have made jewelry, with all the lil tiny beads with this. With my old lights I could squint my way to read a book, this one provides excellent light source for that. My husband grabs it for everyday use when he needs it (forgets to put it back sometimes grrrr). For task lighting this is great and I have asked Santa to bring me another for back up -just in case. It may not be what every woman is dreaming of for Christmas - but it is a little jewel.
