Anwyl Cooper-Willis, second generation Portmeirion artist, brings us Holly and Ivy. Created in 1995, it is now a holiday classic. The Holly and Ivy is the contemporary arrangement of an antique illustration of rich green foliage and lush red berries. Evocative of the traditional English Christmas, the collection includes dinnerware, giftware and cookware in Portmeirion's romantic dinnerware shape. This is the perfect pattern to start your own holiday entertaining tradition for generations to come. The gravy boat and stand can be used for sauces, gravy or milk for hot cereal.This handsomely proportioned gravy boat from Portmeirion Potteries makes a striking addition to any holiday table, and it coordinates beautifully with the rest of the Holly and Ivy collection. Its elegant curves taper to an oversized lip, making for easy pouring without drips or spills. The gravy boat is decorated with clusters of holly and ivy, while the understated stand is plain except for a border of delicate ivy leaves.
Portmeirion artist Anwyl Cooper-Willis was inspired by a seventeenth century Christmas carol to create the Holly and Ivy collection.
