The last two wine openers I bought broke after a few months so I desided to try this one. So far it is great. Works so easy & keeps the bottle in place so it won't walk all over the counter. The base is plastic and seems pretty cheap but I must say .. it works great. The only issue I have had with it is the suction base can take a good 3 or 4 times for it to stick. But what do you expect for under $10. I recommend this product, easy to useCustomer Review: Fautly suction mechanism

Got one for Christmas. It opened the first bottle of wine easily. Since then, the screw goes in the cork and unscrews it's way back out. What a piece of junk!
