Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Polder Digital Timer with Vibrating, Audible, and Illuminated AlarmCustomer Review: Best Timer on the Market Summary: 5 Stars
I just purchased this timer a few days ago and I love it. The option to switch between the hour/minute setting to the minute/second setting is great. The alarm is loud and clear and I like the alarm light which is good to use if you don't want to disturb someone. You also have the option of using the stand or the magnet.
Another great thing about this is that you can set the time up to 20 hours. Most of the timers I've looked into barely give you 60 minutes so this comes in handy when cooking a turkey.
I can't belive this is less than $10. Don't waste your time looking at the other timers. Choose this one and you won't be disappointed. I'm ordering another one today.
Customer Review: Just might be a job saver Summary: 5 Stars
I have worked at my job for 10 years. This year they have issed a new rule. If you miss punching the time clock 13 times you lose your job. I have never been in any trouble at my job however I always forget to punch that clock!. When I was told I have missed 7 punches and it is only April I had to figure something out and fast. I found this alarm it is so very easy to set and re-set and has so many alarms you can't miss it it lights up,sounds,Vibrtates and you can set it for mins and secs or hours and mins. I also have to run a report every hour on the hour.. I set it for that and re-start it for the next hour by the push of one bottom. LOVE IT and I have not missed a punch since I received it.
Customer Review: perfect for my salon environment! Summary: 4 Stars
I got tired of hearing everyone complain about my timer going off alerting me to my perms and colours as done cooking. I multitask too much to keep an eye on the clock! So I went searching for a vibrating timer. Never could find one at Walmart, Kmart, Target, etc. but got lucky with Amazon.com! It's more expensive than I would have liked, but it saves the peace in the drama riddled salon environment. I know when my clients are done and no one else has to jump out of their skin. Yes, it does kind of sound like a sick duck, but I like the little noise it makes! Between the vibration and the noise (I can't see the light when it's clipped on my smock) I never miss on my perms and colours!
Customer Review: Best countdown timer I'v ever seen! Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great item. I use this to help me study for tests so I know how long I have left to work the problem. It's easy to set, has a variety of options for alarm (flash, vibrate, audible) which are all independent use all of them, none or them or any combination. It's also well designed in that it will stand on it's own or lay on it's back at a slight angle so it's easy to read. It will also stick to the file cabinet or clip on to a book or backpack so you can always find it. The digits are large and easy to ready and I've had mine for a couple of months now and haven't had to change the batteries yet so it's not a power hog. If you want a timer, this is it!
Customer Review: Works great! Exactly as advertised! Summary: 5 Stars
This little timer works just as advertised. Works great!
I'm giving it 5 stars because for $10, I think it's a great value.
But there can be improvements. Three improvements I think which should be made to it:
1) Louder beeper when it beeps.
2) Stronger magnet. My timer has fallen off of where I left it magnetized to when it started beeping/vibrating.
3) Brighter glow when the LED flashes.
These are improvements for the next version. The current version works fine and for less than $10 I'm happy with it. I'm waiting for Amazon to give them some kind of sale and I'll be ready to make another purchase.
