Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Polder 898-95 Clock, Timer and Stopwatch, Black

Customer Review: Versitile
Summary: 5 Stars

Clock, count-up, and timer all run in parallel. So you can count-up your exercise, for example, while waiting for the alarm to tell you dinner is ready. Very intuitive, except for the fact--as at least one reviewer has noted--that to set the clock you need to add the seconds. That ran me around for a bit. One sentence on the one page of instructions would have saved that. I would suggest saving that page, with perhaps an edit for the seconds, when you need to replace the battery.

Customer Review: Best timer I've ever had
Summary: 5 Stars

Wonderful little timer that I can wear around my neck or stick on the fridge or leave on a counter. Really easy to set - no more seemingly endless punching to get up to the numbers I want. It's become such an essential tool that I have one at home and one at work. It helps me take on big tasks in small increments, appointments don't go overly long, tea gets steeped for the perfect amount of time, and things in the oven aren't forgotten even if I'm out of the kitchen.

Customer Review: Off Balance but worth it
Summary: 4 Stars

The device works perfectly for clock, timer and count up (stopwatch) functions. The timer counts up after the preset time so you know how much over you are if you missed the bell. Great timer. The magnet is off center so the left hand side of the face tends to droop or swivel downward sometimes spontaneously, sometimes with the touch of use. I solved the problem to my satisfaction by attaching a tiny magnet to the back of the drooping side. Now, no worries mate.

Customer Review: stopped working after 2 months, but it was useless anyway
Summary: 1 Stars

I purchased this timer with the intention of wearing it around my neck. This doesn't work because the buttons are so sensitive that anything you bump up against resets it. For instance, you can't have it and an iPod around your neck at the same time. Also, if you use it while sitting at a desk, it bumps against the edge of the desk and resets. The thing stopped working after a couple of months but that didn't really bother me because it was useless anyway.

Customer Review: Cool timekeeper with a couple of litle problems.
Summary: 4 Stars

The size, shape, button layout, chouce of time, count up timer, count down timer is neat. Good for timing your work or cooking food. Has a magnet on back and long cord so it's handy to carry, store on fridge, other metal.

Main drawback is that timer only goes to 9:59 hours. No good for timing long events (ie consulting jobs). Buttons are a bit sensitive and there's no hold button so if you do carry it you have to be careful pushing by mistake.
