Just received these knives and cutting board and have to say the knives are very nice, light and sleek. The board is very well made and the drawer that holds the knives slides open/closed nicely. It is really a very nice combo that will be very handy. I recommend this product. I'm giving this three stars because you need alot of strength to open the drawer that contains the knives. I've bought this for a Christmas present for an aunt, and I wanted to look at it and the knives. My husband had to open the knife drawer for me because it would not budge when I tried.
I am keeping it to give her because of the beauty of the board and knives; my husband is having to sand it just a bit so that the drawer will open.

Nice product, cutting board lacks visual interest...it is just a block of wood, not smooth, had to sand the edges to remove spinters before we could use it. Knives were light in weight for the size. Prefer a heavier weighted knife.
The unique feature of having the knives in a drawer in the cutting board is excellent. Drawer slides well. If the quality of the materials were a little better this product would receive 5 stars from us.

I missed this when it was the lightning deal for $14.99, so when it went back down to $19.99 I snagged it. Yes, the drawer sticks a tiny bit, but this product is great! The knives are light, but they slice quite well. I'm using the drawer as a smaller, more portable cutting board, so I ended up with two very nice bamboo cutting boards and two knives. I've purchased other Pinzon products I liked, and I'm very glad I picked up this one as well.Customer Review: Sharp and Clean

Pinzon Santoku Knives and Bamboo Cutting Board Set arrived quickly, were a great price and the knives are super sharp. Probably the nicest knives I own at the moment. I'm almost scared of them, they're so sharp and lightweight. I'm no chef but I swear I can suddenly dice onions like Ming! almost.
The cutting board is nice too, with a cool hidden drawer to hold the two knives.
