I'm very pleased with these nice, sharp knives and heavyweight cutting board. The board is the same width as my kitchen drawers and the knife drawer opens in either direction, so it fits perfectly next to my stovetop from the left or right. The durable surface of the board is standing up well to heavy use. I think these are a great deal - I've easily paid this much in the past for just the knives or just the cutting board. (My only suggestion is to work on reducing the amount of packaging used in shipping. It's about the size of a laptop computer but came in an enormous box.)Customer Review: Pleasantly surprised

I had asked for a furi knife for christmas since I have a friend who is in love with hers. I was so disappointed when I opened up this knife. Once I got it out (It took nudging from my husband, because I was so disapointed) and used it I was amazed at how wonderful it is. The cutting board is surprisingly sturdy, and the cost of all of this allowed for even more presents for me. I was very impressed, and keep asking myself why these are so cheap. The two knives in this set are magnificent for the price. Could not be bettered in the value for money stakes. They are as sharp as a Judge's death sentence, beautifully balanced and quite lovely to look at. It is rare indeed for a product to look so good yet perform so well.
The cutting board/knife drawer is a gimmick of little use. Far better to do what we did, put the magnificent knives on a magnetic holder on the wall. Then forget about the drawer and just use the cutting board as such.

My son got these for me for Christmas. I was so impressed with how well the knives sliced, that I googled Pinzon to see if I could get more. Imagine my surprise to find out how little they cost! They feel great in the hand and they sliced our roast like butter.I would have paid more than this for just one of the knives. The bamboo chopping board is very heavy and sturdy and looks great.The knives are even held into the drawer by a magnet. I am buying several sets for my family.Customer Review: Great knives

The cutting board is more than adequate. The REAL value in this product are the KNIVES! Very well made, super sharp and take and hold resharpening readily. I've got a Cuisinart knife of the same type. It's now stuck in knife storage drawer. The 2 knives in this 3 piece set are happily enclosed in the cutting board on my counter where they get daily use, even dropped into the dishwasher. One piece of stainless steel with excellent grip and weight. Another great Amazon Bargain.
