I was popping through a shop in Albuquerque some years ago when I caught whiff of this wonderful incense. I had to have it and actually bought four boxes of it, as it reminded me of so many fond memories of times spent out west. It has a wonderful smell of crisp autumn nights with not only mesquite but pinon burning in fireplaces. To folks back east they may think of mesquite as being for BBQ, but for me it smells of the holidays and good times together with family and friends.
The incense indeed does put off a lot of smoke, which it is intended to do, and it smells of not only mesquite, but also pinon and juniper. The smell is very complex, yet soothing and relaxing. For me it conjures up many pleasant memories of good times out west. Perhaps you can create your own memories or sit back and relax while the wondrous aromas fill the air. Clearly it's not for everyone, but it is for me!

This is a 100 brick package of Pi?on Pine Tree Incense. Pi?on is an evergreen tree that grows along the foot hills of Californian's Desert Mountains, east to Arizona, New Mexico and Texas, and north to Wyoming. This tree produces a cone that bears edible seeds harvested in the late fall. When burned, the smoke is a soft smell of the Pi?on that fill the air in towns and villages throughout New Mexico.Aromatherapy
