The Pillivuyt Quartet Large 11 x 11 - 2 quart Square Roaster can multi-task as a baker or roaster and the extra deep sides prevent splattering in the oven. This square roaster is perfect for roasting vegetables or your favorite casserole ¿ the wide rims give this dish an appealing shape and make it easy to lift. Use this versatile piece for serving pasta or baking a hearty apple crisp. The Quartet look is based on a dish towel that was popular in the Berry region of France at the turn of the last century; the design has a pleasing rumpled look. The rustic lines of this 100 year old pattern are maintained in Pillivuyt's Quartet collection which includes plates in five sizes, rimmed and un-rimmed bowls in four sizes, platters in three sizes, roasters in three sizes and many other pieces. The walls of these dishes, as in all Pillivuyt items, are created with a perfectly uniform thickness for exceptionally even and efficient heat conduction allowing it to retain heat at the table throughout your meal.
