This is an absolutely beautiful piece of porcelain. No one does it better than the French! It is the perfect size for my onion, crab, and articoke "baked" appetizers. From oven to table, it is an exquisite looking serving dish. I highly recommend this piece. I guess I will have to get all of the matching pieces!!!

The Pillivuyt Garrigue 8.75 Square Baker with with its appealing pattern based on the herbs and flowers of Provence is a wonderful addition to any kitchen. The design, in striking blues and greens includes lavender fronds and hints of olive foliage, is printed on a decal and then applied by hand, which requires patience, a steady hand and great attention to detail. After the decal is applied, the piece is fired for a third time and the design is baked into a hard coating of glaze, making it permanent and impervious to scratching or wearing off. This piece can multi-task in your everyday cooking - from baking cakes, brownies, and fruit crisps to appetizers and roasts. This attractive piece can be used on the dinner table with your finest china.
