These sheets are quality although they are not colorful. As one reviewer states, they are not soft. If they were soft, they would be thin, low-thread-count sheets which most people have come to accept as standard. Just use fabric softener, and these sheets will feel great. This sheet set feels great and is beautiful. Not stiff like some high thread count sheets. Very luxurious and what a good value! Will be buying another set soon. You can't go wrong with this choice. I gave this as a Christmas gift and the recipient seemed to be very happy with them. I haven't slept on them so I can't tell you first hand but she said she has slept very well on them.
