I am very pleased with my bright sunny yellow and sky blue sugar and creamer set. I love Pfaltzgraff dinnerware and have had a set of Yorktown patten since the 80's. I used it everday and it still looks great. I was ready for a change and Pistoulet is it! I ended up buying a Baker's rack so I could display all the lovely pieces. It makes me happy just to look at it.

Pfaltzgraff Pistoulet Sugar and Creamer SetPistoulet, inspired by the magical farmhouse of the same name in Jana Kolpen's book, The Secrets of Pistoulet, expresses the sunny hospitality of southern France. Crafted of durable stoneware, this cream and sugar set cheerfully complements not only Pfaltzgraff's Pistoulet teapot but a complete line of dinnerware, introduced in 2002.
Predominantly yellow with green handles, the sugar bowl and creamer are each encircled by a delicately hand-painted vine and wavy terracotta accent line. A bright blue lid topped by a green fleur-de-lis filial sits on the scalloped rim of the sugar bowl. Slight variations due to the hand-painting give each piece of Pistoulet a charm of its own. Backed by Pfaltzgraff's five-year warranty, the set is safe for the oven, microwave, dishwasher, and freezer, and comes prettily packaged in a sunflower yellow gift box. --Ann Bieri
