In eye-catching robin's-egg blue, the sculpted rabbit lid is sure to elicit admiration at the table. The ears of the rabbit serve as a lid handle, while the domed shape sends flavorful moisture back into the base. The buttery yellow casserole base is delicately hand-painted with green leafy vines, tiny bunches of purple grapes, and a thin terracotta wave, while a band of soft green accents the rim and the two handles. Slight variations due to the hand-painting give each piece of Pistoulet a charm of its own. Measuring 11-3/4 by 8-1/4 by 7 inches with the lid on, the casserole is safe for the oven and microwave and retains heat efficiently.
