Most importantly, the little nub on top is straight, narrow and smooth, making it hard to grasp if it is even slightly greasy. It needs to flare out on top. I also think the bottom section looks too big for the top, but that is just me.Customer Review: Really Cool addition to the collection

Have most of this line, Pistoulet, they need to modify the lid handle on it. If you're cooking your hands will be slippery and the lid is hard to pick up with that handle they put on it.Customer Review: die hard Pfaltzgraff fan

This is a great butter dish whether you have Pistoulet or not. The best feature is the fleur de lis on top as a handle, I've had other butter dishes without a handle and they are a pain.
