The manufacturer's packaging is inadequate for this delicate item to withstand shipping. The dish was broken to pieces when it arrived. I requested a replacement, which also arrived with large cracks in the dish portion. Amazon customer service was very receptive to the problem but unfortunately could not modify the manufacturer's packaging to ensure safe shipping. I will look elsewhere to add this cute item to my daughter's collection.Customer Review: Too cute

I admit, this one piece is a bit of an indulgence. I had decided to buy a set of the Pistoulet dinnerware (still have not received those) but saw this item and bought it along with a few of the other coordinating pieces. I've never really had more than your basic white or super-inexpensive box of stoneware, so I decided to treat myself to something colorful and with a lot of style.Customer Review: Larger than what it seems

I ordered this and it came packaged very well which pleased me. I love it as it is a great added piece to my dinnerware set. I wish though that the yellow rim at the bottom of the dish was more in the red/rouge color of my dishes but it still fits very well. I got this butter dish as part of a set with the creamer and sugar directly from Pfaltzgraff. It is so cute. I just love it. Even though it seems kind of wide, it still fits in the butter compartment in my refrigerator door. I have a side by side Kitchenaid refrigerator.Customer Review: Perfect!

I've had the service for 8 for a few months, and treated myself to the
covered butter dish recently. Stick of butter fits perfectly, which was a concern of mine given the shape of the lid.
Well worth it, adds a whimsical touch to the table.
