Customer Review: Came scratched up, TWICE. Amazon can't ship this product properly.

The pepper mill might be great, but I've ordered this TWICE from Amazon.com, and the packaging was completely inappropriate and ended up damaging the product. The pepper mill doesn't come in it's own box, just in a plastic bag. It's not bubble-wrapped. The magnetized lid which keeps the pepper inside comes un-done during shipping, allowing the pepper to go EVERYWHERE in the box, which inevitably scratches the plastic on the outside. The first time this happened, I tried to return both the salt mill and the pepper mill since I bought it as a set. Amazon.com tried to make me pay for the return of the salt mill (S&H) because it was only the pepper mill that was damaged (even though I bought it was a set and I can't just give a salt mill w/o its counterpart). Instead, they sent me a new pepper mill, which just arrived today--packaged the EXACT same way as before, with twice the scratches. Now Amazon.com is paying for the S&H on the pepper mill AGAIN, but still refuses to pay for the S&H on the salt mill. Very disappointed with the customer service associated with this product. So, if you don't care about spending $50.00 on a pepper mill and receiving it damaged, go ahead, but if you're looking for a nice gift for someone, DO NOT BUY THIS.
