The "word of warning" noted in another review should not be taken lightly. Shortly after receiving this product, it began to show small cracks towards the bottom, which became larger and larger. Thinking this was a fluke - I returned it, and got a replacement. Unfortunately, the cracks began to appear again. The cracks are not just a cosmetic problem - when they start to appear, the salt mill stops working properly. For the price of this product, it should not have so many problems - our cheap plastic mill that is sold at Trader Joe's works better!

The patented French u'Select system enables you to adjust the grind on this traditionally styled salt mill, giving you a choice of 6 pre-set levels of grind. The stainless steel mechanism is designed specifically to grind dry sea salt crystals and is treated to resist corrosion and wear. Comes partially filled with sea salt.
