Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Peter's Woven Grass Play BallCustomer Review: *My bunny's favorite toy* Summary: 5 Stars
Worried about boring my bunny to death, I went in search of 'fun' toys for the little guy. After spending $ on previous "bunny toys" that my rabbit flat out dismissed, this was the only item my rabbit would consider. The hay ball combined with the bell keeps him interested, and I dare say he enjoys it. He actively tosses and pushes the ball all over the cage and it keeps me amused, too. I've replaced the ball about four times over the last couple years (my bunny eventually eats through it until there's not much left), so I happily get him a new ball when the time comes, and it never fails - he loves to play with it. Outside of toilet paper and paper towel rolls, which he also loves, this is a must in his bunny world.
Customer Review: Woohoo Bunny Love! Summary: 5 Stars
My husband brought this home one day for our house rabbit. She went nuts for it! At 5am I would wake up to jingle jingle. It is a very soft sound and if I wasn't getting up at this time for work I would have slept right though it. Sophie absolutely loves it. The first one disappeared in about a week so I had to buy her another. We are rabbit sitting for a friend and he loves it to. He is particularly fond of bouncing it off the side of his home. I would recommend this for any rabbit. Don't be discouraged if your bun ignores it at first. Some dont take well to new things but warm up to it after a few days. Sophie things its the best thing next to her Ware Bunny Basket!
Customer Review: No bell, Just a ball of grass Summary: 4 Stars
*Update: After 6 months this ball was gone. She didn't like it much at first but then once she chewed a hole through one part she loved it. It's hollow inside so we would stuff treats and timothy hay in there. I'm ordering another one for her :)
My lionhead started chewing on it right away. She chews it here and there, but doesn't "play" with it persay. I thought there was suppose to be a bell inside based on what another reviewer said, but there's no bell in mine, just a ball of grass. Maybe that review was for a different product. I don't think this will keep her entertained for long, but maybe it will satisfy her chewing habits.
Customer Review: All Natural Fun Summary: 5 Stars
The first thing that I would like to specify is that the dimensions given in the product description are deceptive. They say 5x6x9, but that is not a Length x Width x Height measurement. The only way this ball is 9 inches is if that is the total circumference. I measured the product I received to be more 5x4x5 lxwxh. Regardless, it is certainly a reasonable size for a full grown rabbit.
Other than that, it looks great! My bunny took straight to it the moment I set it down for him. He very clearly prefers this grass ball to the wicker type balls.
Now all I'll have to worry about is how quickly he demolishes it!
Customer Review: Rabbit toy chewed too fast! Summary: 2 Stars
Well, bought my rabbit the Woven Grass Play Ball. It is pretty big so I thought for sure it would last her a couple of days. Oops! Lasted only 6 hours before it was totally torn apart. After she tore it up, she ignored it. Seems the fun is in distroying, not much into eating. I ended up throwing out the grass mess. I wouldn't buy this again because, for me, there are less expensive 6-hour toys for rabbits out there...like toilet paper rolls or eatable branches from the yard.
