Customer Review: A "mehhh"sort of coin bank

Since me and my husband stash coins in one jar and it was getting hard to dig up the coins I need, I'd like to keep the pennies sorted out (they seem to pile up faster than the other denominations), I saw this and thought it would be nice to organize coins and keep track of the amounts too.
I received it in good shape, packaged well in a box - I stuffed batteries in it and proceeded to put some coins in it.
The digital counter was correct for around 90% of the time, although some coins seem to register a different amount when I put them in the slot. Another thing is, the pennies and the dimes tend to mess up with each other, as I see some stray pennies falling into the dime slot, and vice versa. Add to the fact that the pennies tend to get stuck more frequently than the other denominations.
Another thing is that they don't have an option to manually increase the amount. I was getting tired of putting in my old pile of pennies one by one into the slot, I was thinking of just putting them in by batches through the bottom slot and adjust the digital counter to the value it has increased by. No can do. You can only DECREASE but not increase. So I had to spend half an hour stuffing pennies and occasionally correcting the ones that fell into the incorrect slot.
Since I didn't really care much about the correct counting of amounts, I would say it is a satisfactory purchase, but I think there could be better coin sorters in the world.
