After attending an event where I was forced to read tiny print in the dark, I decided it was time to buy myself a pocket magnifier. This Pocket-Pal magnifier is just what I needed. It's lightweight and about the size of a credit card but thicker. The lens is protected by the outer case so I can keep it in my purse and not worry about it getting scratched up. I just pull it out and the light turns on automatically.
The lens is very clear, which makes reading easy. The larger lens is 3X's magnification and that's usually sufficient for me. The smaller inset lens is 4.5X's magnification. I'm very happy with this magnifier. I've seen some competitors and they don't compare.
