I'd Give It Zero Stars
If there was a lower rating than 1 star, I'd have given it. The cooking times are grossly miscalculated. It makes me wonder if anyone bothered to use this thing or check the cooking times out before bringing this gadget to market. The recipe booklet and the poor instructions seem hastily put together. I've used it to cook fettuccini (pasty), lasagna (stuck together) and elbow macaroni (pasty and stuck together). And cooking 2 cups of elbow macaroni for 23 minutes (or longer it says for softer macaroni) isn't much of a time saver. I won't waste any more of my time trying to get this thing to work.

Love this Pasta Cooker so much that I ordered one for my daughter-in-law.
It is wonderful to cook pasta, have it ready to eat in a very short time. Traditionally, it took 20 minutes to just get the water to boil, now can have it ready to eat in 20 minutes.
Having the handles to use as measuring devices is wonderful. Now I no longer have to guess at how much spagetti I have to cook.
Thank you again for inventing the pasta cooker.
The only suggestion I have for the manufacturer, is to put the cleaning instructions for first time use at the very top of the instruction page, instead of at the end of the second page.

I used to have a 700 watt microwave and when I cooked my pasta in this it always came out perfect. I got a new 1000 watt microwave recently and even after adjusting the power to 70% and trying numerous different times to cook in it, now my pasta no longer cooks properly. It always comes out gooey on the outside and hard in the middle now, or it comes out all goo if I try and cook it a little longer. I've tried everything. Different power settings, different times, different pastas to no avail. I really liked this pasta cooker AT FIRST--but not anymore!!! The instruction booklet is of no help whatsoever. What a time saver! Just put recommended amount of water & pasta, place it in the microwave, and go do other things. No waiting for a big pot of water to boil, no stirring so the pasta won't stick to the bottom of the pot or to each other, and no watching the clock. I prepare my salad or veggies or whatever else I am making while the pasta is cooking. I do taste the pasta when the time is up to make sure it's as al dente as I like it, but it's never wrong!!! Veggies are delish, too. Bought these items for my four daughters as well as for myself. We love this product.Customer Review: Great healthy option.

This has been one of the greatest purchases I have ever made. I use it daily to make a fast, healthy meal with less than 300 calories, less than 200mg of sodium, and 0grams of fat. Just mix a serving of your favorite pasta with a spoonful of tomato paste, throw in a bit of the salted pasta water and maybe a touch of garlic and you'll have a great lunch with no guilt. I even use it to make a full 16oz box of pasta for the whole family a couple of times a week. It has already more than paid for itself. If you're thinking about geting one, do it. You will not regret it.
