These pancake molds seem to be made from aluminum and they heat up quickly. The handles are also made from aluminum, so be careful picking them up or you can get burned. Don't forget to spray the molds with cooking spray of some sort, or the animals come out pretty mutilated.
I would recommend pancake molds to any parent. They are a lot of fun for kids and often times help them be more interested in eating. (Great for those picky eaters!)
