Customer Review: DO NOT BUY PANASONIC! They won't honor the warranty.

I purchased this rice cooker and it arrived to me in non-usable condition. IT NEVER WORKED and it was obviously not quality checked before leaving the factory.
The seller suggested I return it directly to Panasonic, as the seller did not have an exact replacement for the non-functioning model. Now, Panasonic is telling me the package was dented, which voids any warranty on the item and they are refusing to repair or replace it. At least they returned my calls to tell me they had a reasonable excuse not to honor the warranty, unlike the other bad review on this item, where they wouldn't even return the call.
