Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Pan Gripper Deep Dish ModelCustomer Review: They looked good! Summary: 1 Stars
I was cooking my first Chicago deepdish pizza (now that I had bought the pans and this piece of junk), and the third time I went to pick up the pizza to rotate it, the lower jaw just cracked and fell off nearly making me lose the pizza. Buy a gripper somewhere else!
Customer Review: Can't handle the 14" deep dish Summary: 3 Stars
I got this to use with the 14" chicago style deep dish pizza pan, and it couldn't handle picking up that pan when full of pizza. I think it will do okay when we make ten inch pizzas, but I'm a little disappointed.
Customer Review: Deep Dish does not mean 2" Deep Summary: 1 Stars
Amazon recommended this gripper along with fourteen inch diameter, 2" deep pizza pans.
It will not handle 2" deep pans, in fact most "grippers" on the market will not do 2" deep
pans.
Customer Review: Cheap and functional Summary: 5 Stars
Having burned my hands numerous times in the pzza restaurant I owned, this item is a good way to remove heavy pan pizzas from you convection oven or any other for that matter.
Customer Review: Does what it says Summary: 5 Stars
Haven't gotten to use it much yet because we didn't receive it in time for holiday pizza-making, but it seems pretty straightforward and we don't foresee any issues.
