this water filter system works beautifully, easy to use, stores great in the fridge., takes a little time, but don't you want great tasting water! It filters the water and renders it clean as per the specifications. The body of the filter is extremely cheap quality plastic. It cracked in the first week of usage and within a month it cracked really deep and broke. Its no longer usable. I use this product very delicately, inspite of which it cracks. Your basic water purifier pitcher with the signature PUR blue aesthetics. Design works the same as other basic pitchers, perfect for keeping several glasses of water cold in the fridge. The LED is a nice addition, however I find that it does not distinguish from pouring a glass and removing the cover to purify water.Customer Review: Disapointed on the pitcher design, so dificult to open and refill

Maybe the filter system is the best, but the pitcher design is poor, the lid that closes the pitcher is almost attached making so difficult to open and close when refilling the water, I owned a Brita pitcher and it system was a pleasure, so think about it and look for something that has it all, I'll return mine.Customer Review: Stubborn lid

Based on the lid design I would not buy this product again. It is inexplicable that the manufacturer sells this product with such a flawed lid design. It's a struggle to remove the lid and if you are not very careful, the lid will fly across the room when it comes loose. Very, very poor design.
