My family has used a Pur pitcher for at least a decade (and a Brita before that) and lately I just got fed up with the Pur. The last 2 filters we bought are so slow to filter the water, sometimes it sits in the top for hours. Then when you forget to wait and try to pour, the lid pops off and water spills everywhere. A waste of time and money. You should try the Clear2O Premium Water Filtration Pitcher, it's perfect!

I gave this as a gift to a college student. It was well received, but it seems that the indicator light on the filter is WAY over anxious to say it is time to change the filter. I have used PUR devices and these filters for a long time and it definitely is reporting in a little early. I can't say I know the reason for that, so otherwise, I've had good feedback about this as a gift item.Customer Review: Pur Water Pitcher The Best!

The CR-6000C provides good tasting filtered water, however, the electronic indicator light in the lid failed after about 6 months of use. It will not reset and does not blink when you pour water from the pitcher. I cannot find any source to replace the lid with filter light as the pitcher housing is still useable and I have several filters that have not been used.Customer Review: PUR Water Pitcher

This pitcher is a good way to have safer, cleaner water for you family to drink. The pitcher holds 7-eight ounce glasses of water and it is very attractive. The led indicator lets you know when it's time to change the
filter. I bought this as a gift for someone else, after seeing it and tasting the water, I am going to buy one for myself.
