I purchase Pur after reveiwing Zero and doing price comparisons on replacement filters. NO BRAINER! I found the 3 pack replacements filters at Wal-Mart for around $12.99 on sale. The Zero Water filters are close to $60.00. I have well water, cannot use in coffee maker, and this not only does the job...the water tastes great! Highly recommend, and am purchasing now as a gift for my mom!Customer Review: Water for all

I purchased this to replace an older filter pitcher we got as a wedding present years ago. That model was discontinued so I was hunting for a similar item. This pitcher is slim enough to get on the door of the refrigerator without any hassle. Just don't overfill it or it drips a little when you angle it in or out. I just have to keep up with the refills but that is standard anyway.Customer Review: Its ok

Its better than nothing. The good things I notice is that it does filter water. Thats pretty much it. As far as how long the filter lasts, I would say 3-4 months. The main problem I have is having to refill the thing. In fact, its pretty much the reason I want to switch to the faucet mount. You pretty much have to refill it every two glasses of water if you want to keep it full.Customer Review: Crummy and cracked

It also smells..that stench that plastic products ooze
now-a-days.
and looking at how flimsy it is made no surprise!
Had a PUR pitcher for YEARS
and loved it...this new one
is clearly a de-evolution of the product.

for under $20 it's hard to fault this filter. It filters more different things than the Brita does... if the Brita meets your needs, buy it. I like the extra assurance and have never had a problem with speed of filtering unless the cartridge is old. It's been sitting in the door of my refrigerator for over a year now, quietly doing it's job.
