I don't know what's going on at the QA department of PUR. I properly mounted the filter in the dispenser but unfiltered tap water leaks from the water reservoir into the main dispenser. Doesn't do what it's supposed to, which leaves me with a one star rating for the item.Customer Review: Quality

Some guy complained that it took too long to filter, but I see it as it's doing its job properly. If you are smarter than the filter, you will make sure there is plenty of water BEFORE you need it in a rush. Good convenient, though a bit slow in filling. I have a rather small refrigerator, so it is at a slight angle to fit. Nice to have a full gallon ready - only have to refill once or twice a week.
Cleaning and filter replacement are quite easy. Would purchase again.

I have other water filters. One in the refrigerator. The filtering that this unit provides is great. The water didn't taste bad before, but you can tell the difference. It tastes a lot better. One review stated " It now tastes better than beer" I would have to agree.Customer Review: Stop buying water!!!

Great product, fast setup and the water tastes better than Brita. Love the slim design so it doesn't take up lots of space on the counter or in the refrigerator. Everything about it is economical. As always, I wish less packaging was used but can't have everything.
