I haven't officially used this cookie scoop for making cookies yet. I've only used it to fill the cupcakes molds. You can probably use it for ice cream too. It has a nice rubber grip and isn't hard to squeeze at all. I'm sure if I used them for cookies it'd work well and they'll all be evenly sized.

Available also in small and large sizes, this medium-size scoop picks up approximately 1-1/2 tablespoons of dough, which yields a cookie 2-3/4 inches in diameter.
