Customer Review: Better than any supermarket strainer!

Over the last ten years I have gone through possibly 10 sink strainers. The original one that came with my sink was heavy and durable and lasted several years but inevitably broke or lost its seal and started leaking. I replaced it with an original equipment strainer from Kohler but it was at a hefty price and the replacement broke faster than the original. In an effort to find a decent replacement at a cost that a strainer should cost, I have been constantly disappointed with the cheap chrome or plastic strainers that break or don't hold water from the day I install it.

Oxo is a name I have come to trust after using several of their kitchen products and this strainer did not disappoint! It is well designed and looks great! It hides the scratches that have accumulated on my sink drain with it's nice looking flange?? and it works! It holds water in my sink when needed, it strains and the silicone strainer comes clean when I empty it...often a difficult thing to do with a metal strainer.

I don't write many reviews but after the amount of time I have invested in finding, finally, the right strainer, I figured I should spend a couple minutes to let you all know a little bit about it.

I highly recommend NEVER spending another dollar on a cheap metal supermarket strainer and get this Oxo strainer! It will last longer, work better, look great (if you like a classy looking sink) and you won't spend a bunch of money on factory equipment.

It might even make a great Secret Santa gag gift that is actually useful! lol

Keep Oxo in business...they make good stuff!
