The Hills Quatro was easy to install and it works like a charm. This unit is very well built, unlike most of the flimsy retractables that you see on the market today. You get what you pay for here! It's installed on our back patio and virtually disappears when not in use. We now line dry every chance we get. The clothes smell great and we don't waste electricity, saving the dryer for rainy days.

This Outdoor Clothes Dryer Quatro 4 Extendaline Retractable Clothesline - (4x20ft) by Hills is a premier, top of the line eco-friendly drying system for both indoors and outdoors. Each of the drying lines is individually spooled and housed in the tough, powder-coated, rust-resistant steel cabinet. This means that each line is on its own cylinder so there is no way for the lines to tangle and that can be tensioned individually.There is a generous 5 1/2 inches of space between each line so it is easier for you to hang your laundry and it will dry more quickly. The Hills Quatro 4 dryer lines extend from 13 feet to 20 feet which is enough to give you plenty of drying space when fully extended you can hang about 2 loads of laundry at once. This item is also available in a larger 6 line Sietro 6 Model if you need more drying space.
There are many installation options. This Base package includes (1) Retractable Dryer unit w/ Receiving Bracket. This package is for (A) mounting the dryer unit to a solid surface, (masonry, brick, stone or solid wood) and (B) mounting the opposing receiving bracket onto a solid surface (masonry, brick, stone, solid wood or a framed wall stud) and (C) having the 2 surfaces within 20 feet of each other.
Detailed, step-by-step, illustrated installation and mounting instructions are provided. Everything is included except the wall anchoring hardware, which is not supplied since the mounting surfaces will vary. NOTE: If you are mounting the dryer unit onto a standard wood-framed wall (16in or 24in on-center framing) you will also need to purchase a Mount Plate.
