Customer Review: Good idea, but design makes it difficult to clean.

Its a nice size, and a nice idea, but its too difficult to keep clean. The main reason its difficult to clean is that unlike most blender jars, its only open at one end. Its a narrow opening that you can't stick your hand or most cleaning utensils very far into, which is a problem because its deep. The other reason, is that at the very bottom of the container's inside, along the sides, there are sharp angles, and a little slotlike crevice. To clean the edges down there, what you really need a fine-bristled brush with a long thin handle, like a toothbrush... but longer. To clean the slot you need a long thin wire or pipecleaner and some dexterity.
And those crevices mean that unlike a regular blender jar, you can't get it clean by just blending some hot water. If you neglect to clean it, dried grime builds up every time you use it.
So, cleaning time included, its faster to use a regular blender jar and transfer the blended drink to a regular plastic cup.
