Customer Review: NOT PERFECT FOR MAKING FROZEN DRINKS

I've been making frozen drinks (margaritas and pina coladas) quite often, so I purchased this blender hoping it would do a better job crushing the ice into the perfect slush. It doesn't do a much better job than a regular blender if you are looking for a blender to quickly crush all the ice. It starts well, then the blade turns freely and the ice stays at the top. There are some uncrushed pieces of ice with the slush, so I stop it, shake it around and start it again, and I do that several times in order to achieve the perfect result. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BLENDER FOR MAKING FROZEN DRINKS.Customer Review: Blending

I received this product faster than expected. No problems with shipping. I have tried the blender only once and was able to complete the blending process I was striving for. I think this will be a great blender once I get used to it. My complaint is that the cord is really short and the blender has to be right next to a plug to use. The cord is not even two feet long. I also tried to pulse some turkey meat and the process took longer than I wanted and I had to keep stirring the mixture. I don't know if the blender should be used for this type of processing or just for blending liquids.Customer Review: Great Blender

Ordered with my fingers crossed. Over the years I have owned too many wimpy blenders that get that burn-y smell when I try to make something heavy duty, like hummus! This is the ultimate test of a blender's muscles. Well, this one passed the test! It did its job and I was relieved. It is easy to clean, easy to use a rubber spatula to get everything out too. We were a bit disappointed that this item took nearly a week to arrive here--probably the result of two major snow storms that his New Jersey just when we ordered. I think that this item is well worth the price. Try it, you will like it!Customer Review: Excellent for Indian stuff also

I have ordered this blender couple of days back in buy.com for very low price...$25 which i think is very good deal
I used the blender & its working great...I also used it for indian stuff also,which i mean idle,dosa batter also.I also prepared chatni...its very great.Excellently working for all kinds of purpose.
I hope my review would me useful for some of the indian in US..who r in a dilama to purchase for the indian stuff.But i can promise u that u can go ahead n buy this product for indian stuff also.

I just got the Oster 6684 12-Speed Blender, Black today along with the Oster Milkshake Blade Blender Accessory 6670 and as with any new kitchen toy have tried it out on a number of things. I throughly enjoy the Oster 6684 12-Speed Blender, Black and think we are going to have a long happy, culinary relationship together.
