I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He loves it and loves having people guess what it is. It is amazing how fast it works and can't beat the great price. Nice to have the foil cutter included too. Thinking of buying my Father-in-law one for Christmas because he has bad wrists. Great item for someone with arthritis in their hands that love wine but too painful too open a bottle.
UPDATE
Does not work anymore after less than a year of use. Just died one day.

I saw this opener at my friend's home & thought it was wonderful. But, after reading some of the reviews I was hesitate to purchase the opener. But, the coolness of the opener made me give it a try. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!! I have had it for about 8 months & I keep it charging all the time. The Opener has not let us down. The corks do not split & is far better to use than the traditional wine bottle openers. This is my second unit, the first lasted about 4 years then it ran into a terrible cork that stipped the internal gears. We loved it so much that we had to get a new one. Ordered 3. One for us and two for gifts. The new one, althought with the same model number, seems to work more smoothly and extracts the corks very easily. I suspect there has been a continuous improvement program on this opener and I recommend this to any wine person. No carpal tunnel syndrome from this beauty.Customer Review: Great Wine Opener

Oster 4207 Electric Wine Opener
This wine opener is very easy to use. Just insert the bottle, press one end of the toggle button and wait for the pop. then, pull out the bottle and press the other end of the button. Out comes the cork. It stays charged for a long time with infrequent use. It takes overnight to charge it after it is fully discharged. We don't leave it plugged in.

I purchased the Oster 4207 Electric Wine Opener. I read the directions and follow them. The devise works just fine. I charged it up and then stored it in a cabinate. I had thought about giving it away for a birthday present; including a bottle of wine. However, after I used it I changed my mind. My friend was given two bottles of wine as a gift. I kept the opener for myself. I think I made a great purchase and recommend this product. No more pieces of cork in my wine glasses.
